The Montvales — the Knoxville-born duo of Sally Buice and Molly Rochelson — bring their harmony-driven, storytelling-rich folk-country to the Horseshoe. Now based in Cincinnati, The Montvales tour in support of their latest album Born Strangers, produced by Mike Eli LoPinto (Emily Nenni, Chris Stapleton). Their songs span the folk and Americana spectrum, shaped by years spent busking, old-time circles, and DIY recording sessions — from street corners to Nashville studios.
Opening the night is Canadian multi-instrumentalist Talise, whose roots-infused sound draws from country folk, blues, and Appalachian traditions. With songs shaped by northern landscapes, folklore, and timeless instrumentation, Talise creates an atmosphere that’s both deeply grounded and transportive.
A night of lush harmonies, lyrical storytelling, and modern roots music. Don’t miss it.
