Vancouver’s Uncle Strut has built a reputation for dynamic live shows and a sound that blends surf-infused indie rock with ‘70s influences. Following sold-out hometown shows and performances alongside acts like the Goo Goo Dolls and George Thorogood, they’re hitting the road in support of their debut album Home At Last, out May 16.
Joining them is Moondoggy, an alternative rock band originally from Collingwood, now based in Toronto. Their energetic live sets and well-received releases, including Changing Seasons, Breaking Even, have made them a standout in Canada’s indie rock scene.
Opening the night is Johnny Famos, a Toronto-based duo whose energetic music combines a wide range of influences into a fresh, distinctive sound.
Catch all three bands live at the Horseshoe Tavern on June 5th.
